As part of its efforts to share Korea’s digital employment service experience with the international community, KEIS has introduced the current status, key functions, and future roadmap of Korea’s AI-based Public Employment Service (PES) platform. Centered on “Employment24,” Korea’s integrated online employment platform, the initiative demonstrates how large-scale labor market data, AI-powered job matching, and personalized employment services are being combined into a single digital ecosystem for jobseekers, employers, and public employment officers. The feature highlights major AI-driven services such as JobCare, FirmCare, AI-assisted recruitment support, and employment probability analysis, while also outlining Korea’s phased roadmap for seven major employment AI pilot projects through 2026. By presenting Korea’s experience in data integration, ontology-based job matching, and lifecycle-oriented employment services, the article offers practical insights for governments and institutions seeking to modernize labor market information systems and public employment services in the AI era.
