Programs of Public Employment Services (PES) in Republic of Korea (hereafter, Korea) are grounded on relevant articles in three Acts: ‘Framework Act of Employment Policy’, ‘Employment Security Act’ and ‘Employment Insurance Act’. Provisions of the Employment Security Act include employment assistance programs with services of job placement and vocational guidance.
